Russell Carawan has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Russell was most recently the Director of Social Services at Bayfront Health Punta Gorda. Prior to that, they worked as a Paddle Therapy Coach, specializing in stand-up paddleboarding. Russell also spent several years at Charlotte Behavioral Health Care as a Therapist, working with teens and adolescents. Russell also worked as a Mental Health Treatment Specialist and Student Specialist at Saucon Valley School District, where they implemented innovative programs for at-risk students. Earlier in their career, Russell served as a Supervising Clinician at The Mentor Network and as a Case Manager/Counselor at Lakeside Educational Network.

Russell Carawan earned a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arcadia University. Russell also obtained a Master's degree in Adolescent Counseling from Cairn University. In addition, they are certified as a Paddlefit level 2 and WPA Certified Instructor in Paddle Sports from Paddlefit. Russell also holds a certification in PaddleFit 1 & 2 from PaddleFit.
