Heidi James

Heidi James currently serves as the Financial Controller at Short Story, a position held since March 2025. Prior to this role, Heidi held various accounting leadership positions at Janie and Jack, including Director of Accounting, Senior Manager, and Accounting Manager from July 2021 to December 2024. Heidi's career also includes experience as a Senior Associate in Financial Services at GLG in 2021, as well as an Investment Analyst at Kiva from July 2017 to February 2019. Earlier in the career, Heidi worked at Vision Linens from January 2011 to September 2016, taking on roles such as Financial Controller, Accounting Manager, and Accountant. Heidi holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Liverpool and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
