Kris Y.

Kris Y. is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in technology, community engagement, and education. Currently serving as an Analyst at Shostack + Associates since June 2022, Kris leads media campaigns and supports the Threat Modeling Intensive at BlackHat. As the Founder of Safe Security and the Director of WildHacks, Kris is focused on innovative initiatives. Previous roles include Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, where Kris developed auditing tools, and Virtual Camp Coordinator for Kode With Klossy, where Kris managed web development camps. As Senior Vice President for GirlCon, Kris oversaw sponsorship and logistics for large conferences.
