Kendra Malinowski has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Collections Associate position at the Harry Ransom Center in 2012. In 2011, they were a Contract Archivist for General Mills. In 2013, they held two positions: a Communications Archive Intern at Southwest Airlines and a Digital Asset Management Analyst (Contract) and Digital Asset Management Intern at Whole Foods Market. In 2017, they were a Sr. Digital Asset Librarian at Shutterfly, Inc., where they launched Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) DAM as the first digital asset management system for the creative marketing department, created metadata taxonomy and migrated 20,000 assets into the DAM, and led live training sessions and launch communications to employees. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Product Manager - Digital Asset Management at Gap Inc., where they were responsible for the product roadmap, business collaboration, and product owner for scrum teams, and received an Exceed award for exceptional performance in their first year. Currently, they are a Technical Account Manager at ShotFlow.

Kendra Malinowski obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Minnesota in 2011, majoring in History, Spanish, and Global Studies. Kendra went on to receive a Master of Science in Information Studies (MSIS) from The University of Texas at Austin in 2014. Additionally, they have obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, as well as a Digital Archives Specialist Certificate from the Society of American Archivists.
