Carol Mattos

Carol Mattos has over nine years of work experience. In 2020, they took on the role of Shotgun Brazil Director at Shotgun. From 2015 to 2017, Carol was the Co-Founder, Producer, and Resident DJ at MASTERp la n o, a collective of nine artists from Belo Horizonte. During this time, they also held the role of Social Design Planner at LABCEUS. In 2017, Carol was a Producer at FESTCURTAS - 19° Festival Internacional de Curtas de Belo Horizonte, where they were responsible for infrastructure, travel and ground logistics for 47 guests. In 2014, they were an Intern at Basurama Asociación, an artist collective dedicated to research, cultural and environmental creation and production. From 2011 to 2015, they were an Intern Student at LAGEAR - Laboratório Gráfico para Experiência em Arquitetura, a computer lab geared toward teaching research in architecture and new media.

Carol Mattos began their educational career in 2011 when they enrolled in the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais for a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urbanism. Carol left before graduating in 2015. In 2013, they attended the Universitat d'Alacant and obtained their Bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urbanism. In 2019, they began attending the Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and is currently pursuing a Produção Musical em Música Eletrônica degree.
