Marcel Verner

Marcel Verner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Marcel is currently working as a Principal Engineer at SHOTOVER Systems since January 2022. Prior to this, Marcel held various positions at PV Labs from 2009 to 2021. Marcel served as a Principal Engineer from December 2017 to November 2021, a Technical Lead and Systems Engineering from January 2016 to December 2017, a Principal Investigator from June 2012 to December 2017, and a Systems Design Engineer from March 2009 to June 2012. Marcel also worked at National Research Council, where they were a Research Council Officer from September 2005 to September 2007 and a Technical Officer from May 1999 to September 2007.

Marcel Verner completed their bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 1994 to 1999. Following that, they pursued their master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Western University, between 1999 and 2003. In May 2005, Marcel obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer from Professional Engineers Ontario.
