Francisco Gómez-Fernández

Francisco Gómez-Fernández is a seasoned Computer Vision Engineer with extensive experience spanning multiple roles in leading organizations. Currently employed at ShotQuality since December 2022, Francisco previously worked at DeepGlint as a Computer Vision Engineer and Senior Research Scientist, where key projects included the development of a fault diagnosis system for high-speed trains and innovative methods for 3D scanning and point cloud processing. Prior roles included positions at Sinapsis focusing on machine vision for microfracture detection, and TeraCode working on virtual clothing try-on applications. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at CONICET, Francisco contributed to advancements in surface reconstruction and UAV-based photogrammetry. Educational credentials include a PhD and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Buenos Aires.
