Melissa Boag

Melissa Boag has extensive experience in marketing and brand management in the entertainment industry. Melissa is currently the EVP of Shout Studios, where they oversee family entertainment. Previously, they worked as the SVP of Kids & Family Entertainment at Shout! Kids and Shout! Factory Entertainment, where they led branding and marketing functions and played a key role in acquisitions and various strategies. Prior to that, Melissa worked as the VP of Marketing at Shout! Studios, where they were responsible for product management, publicity, and retail strategies. Before joining Shout! Studios, they held positions as the VP of Marketing at 5.1 Entertainment/immergent, Brand Manager at Artisan Home Entertainment, Marketing Director at MCA Records, Director of Sales and Marketing at Epitaph Records, and Marketing Manager at Interscope Records. In these roles, Melissa developed and implemented strategic marketing plans, managed relationships, and coordinated various marketing and promotional activities.

Melissa Boag has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California. Melissa also completed the Management Development Program (Executive Education) at USC Marshall School of Business, focusing on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Prior to their university education, Melissa attended Ellensburg High School. Additionally, they obtained a Divemaster (DM) certification from PADI in 1992.
