Crystal Anglen has extensive experience in the medical affairs field, with a focus on patient engagement and advocacy. Crystal is currently the Executive Director of Medical Affairs and Advocacy Engagement at Structure Therapeutics. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal at True North Solutions, LLC, where they specialized in medical affairs consulting and strategy development.
Before joining True North Solutions, Crystal held various roles at Ascendis Pharma, including Senior Director and Director of Medical Communications and Education. Crystal also served as Director of Medical Affairs-Advocacy at Prothena Corporation plc, where they integrated the patient voice into corporate decision-making and developed a global patient engagement plan.
Crystal's earlier experience includes working as the Director of Medical and Patient Community Engagement at ProQR Therapeutics NV and Senior Manager of Medical Affairs at Gilead Sciences. In these positions, they played key roles in research strategy development, publication planning, and engagement with external investigators.
Crystal began their career as a Research Scientist at Neurome, Inc, and later worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Scripps Research Institute. Crystal Anglen has a strong background in medical affairs and has demonstrated a commitment to advancing patient care throughout their career.
Crystal Anglen has a PhD in Neuroscience and Immunology from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. Crystal also holds a BA in Psychology with a specialization in Neuroscience from the University of Colorado Boulder.
