Amanda Curren is an experienced educator and assessor in health and social care, with a strong background in teaching structured apprenticeship programs. Amanda has worked in various roles, including Clinical Tutor/Assessor from May 2017 to August 2020, where responsibilities included delivering health and social care apprenticeships across regional workplaces. Prior to that, Amanda served as a Health and Social Care and Clinical Apprenticeship Tutor at Central YMCA, leading curriculum development for new higher-level apprenticeships for the NHS in Central London. Amanda's earlier roles include teaching at Age UK, working as an Assistant Practitioner at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, and gaining foundational experience as a Physiotherapy Technician and Clinical Support Worker. Amanda holds multiple qualifications in health and fitness, education, and teaching, including a degree in Health & Social Care from The Manchester Metropolitan University and various certificates related to fitness instruction and teaching.
