Bert van Hauwaert

Bert Van Hauwaert has over 15 years of experience in software development and engineering. Currently serving as the Owner of be.coded since October 2007, Bert also works as a Freelance Principal Software Engineer and Freelance Senior Software Engineer at Showpad since August 2015. Previous roles include Freelance Zend Framework Architect at Belgacom from November 2011 to June 2015 and Senior Developer & Chief R&D at Studio Emma from July 2004 to August 2010, where projects included developing local web applications for various eBay regions and creating a CMS based on Zend Framework and ExtJS. Bert's career began with an internship at Devgen in early 2004, focusing on web interface development. Bert holds an educational background from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' in Gent, graduated between 2001 and 2004.
