David Brown

David Brown is the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis at Showpad. David has over 9 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and has served as a director for both CareerBuilder and Kaplan. At CareerBuilder, they led the financial planning process for a $700M global business with 3,000 employees. David was also responsible for directing company-wide operating procedures, maintaining the acquisition model, and reviewing and integrating target financial statements. At Kaplan, they served as a business partner to the executive team and was responsible for forecasting and planning for all Kaplan campuses nationwide. David has experience in modeling the financial impact of campus closures, opening of an online school, various capital requests, and year-end field bonus calculation and payment process documentation review at the campus level.

David Brown has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University, and they are certified as a public accountant (CPA) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
