Vlad Toma

Vlad Toma is a Senior iOS Developer currently employed at Showpad since April 2025, with prior experience at Salt Bank from August 2023 to April 2025, where contributions included early-stage development for Romania's first neobank, implementation of scalable architecture, and advocacy for Clean Architecture and Test-Driven Development principles. Before that, Vlad worked as an iOS Developer at Asociatia unPi pentru Scolari from November 2020 to August 2023, focusing on innovative solutions utilizing Apple technology. Vlad also held leadership roles in the National Security System, serving as Team Leader Engineer from November 2021 to November 2022, contributing to the development of military iOS applications and robotic solutions, and as a Combat Engineer from June 2018 to November 2021, enhancing control systems for terrestrial robots. Vlad's education includes a PhD candidacy in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, as well as a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Military Technical Academy "Ferdinand I."
