Wouter Durnez

Wouter Durnez is a highly experienced professional in the field of artificial intelligence and data processing, currently serving as a Staff AI Engineer at Showpad since September 2023, having previously held the position of Senior AI Engineer. Prior to that, Wouter worked as a Senior Consultant at AE and as a Python Developer in consultancy with Jan De Nul Group, focusing on developing a Flask-based Python project template. Wouter's extensive background includes significant roles at imec-mict-UGent as a Senior Researcher, data integration at Ipsos, project management at PreviewLabs, and scientific research at Ghent University, where contributions included data collection and analysis. Wouter holds a Master in Artificial Intelligence from KU Leuven, a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Ghent University, and a Master’s Degree in Theoretical and Experimental Psychology from the same institution.
