Richard Church

Richard Church is the Head of Resourcing at Showsec. Richard has over 20 years of experience in the security industry. Richard began their career as an Event Steward/Security/Supervisor in 1996. Richard then became the Sheffield Area Manager in 1998 and East Midlands Area Manager in 2001. In 2011, they joined Showsec as Head of Resourcing.

Richard Church started their educational career with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Professional Studies - Crowd Safety Management from the University of Derby. Richard then went on to study at the Institute of Safety and Health in Risk Management at X-Venture. Afterwards, they completed the IOSH Managing Safely in Events course in Event Risk Assessment at NEC Training. Finally, they obtained a UADip in Counter Terrorism Risk Management from the University of Cumbria.

They are on a team with Andrew Edwards - South Central Regional Manager, Simon Howard - London East Regional Manager, and Tom Rigby - Liverpool Regional Manager. Their manager is Mark Harding, Managing Director.
