Stephanie Altman

Stephanie Altman is a seasoned professional in policy and healthcare justice, currently serving as the Senior Director of Policy and Director of Health Care Justice at the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law since January 2014. Prior experience includes roles as Programs and Policy Director at Health & Disability Advocates from December 2000 to December 2013, and Professor of Clinical Practice at Chicago-Kent College of Law from September 1995 to September 2000. Furthermore, Stephanie Altman worked as a Staff Attorney at Legal Aid Chicago from November 1989 to August 1995. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Grinnell College.
