John J. Rivera, PhD, is an accomplished executive, consultant, and professor with over 20 years of diverse experience in corporate leadership, government, academia, and nonprofit sectors. Currently, John serves as the Director of Human Resources and Corporate Development for CITADEL Pacific, Ltd., overseeing people operations for more than 700 employees across Micronesia. Additionally, John holds the position of Chair of the Board of Commissioners for the Guam Housing Urban Renewal Authority and continues to teach as an adjunct professor at the University of Guam and Chaminade University in Hawaii. Previously, John was a Tenured Associate Professor at the University of Guam and has held several leadership roles in various organizations, earning numerous accolades including the 2020 UOG Triton Faculty of the Year award. John is also recognized for expertise in Human Capital Innovation and Agile Leadership Transformation.
