Leah Levar, PHR, SHRM CP, is the Area Director of Human Resources at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where they oversee HR operations for a collection of hotels in the Pacific Northwest. With a career spanning various leadership roles in renowned hotel chains, Leah has demonstrated expertise in employee engagement, performance management, and organizational design. They previously held positions at Thompson Hotels and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, consistently driving employee satisfaction and guest loyalty. Additionally, Leah has been a dedicated board member of Seattle SHRM since 2015, contributing to diversity and inclusion initiatives. They are currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality at Washington State University.
