Rajesh Sood

Rajesh has over 27 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services. He has done his Bachelors in Commerce from Shriram College of Commerce, Delhi University and MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.

He Started his career with ANZ Grindlays Bank in Banking Operations and later was part of the team that launched Mortgage Loans for the Bank. Post that he moved to GE Capital India in their Consumer Finance Business and has held various positions across their group Companies. He was Regional Business Head for SBI Cards and helped the Company scale the 1 Million card mark. Post which he moved to GE Money as National Sales Manager to launch the large ticket Personal Loans wherein he built the business from start and scaled it to 70 + locations. In 2008 he took over as MD for GE Money Housing Finance and was MD for over 2 years. At GE he was recognised and awarded “GE India President’s Award” for Values and Performance Driven Culture.

In 2010 he moved to Global Delivery Centre of Bank of America as Sr. VP for Consumer Banking and Managed the Consumer Banking Operations in India. He also launched Philippines as a key delivery centre for the Bank.

In 2014 he joined DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance as Chief Distribution Officer. In a matter of 3 years he built the business significantly to establish a sales presence in almost every state of India. This resulted in DHFL Pramerica becoming one of the top 10 Life Insurance Players in India in terms of New Business Rankings.
