Praveen Bandekar

Praveen Bandekar is the current advisor at ShufflUp. Praveen was the CEO and Founder of Saakhoo.com from July 2019 to September 2021. Praveen has also worked as the Head of Retail Banking & SME at Union National Bank from February 2008 to June 2019.

Praveen has significant experience in building and growing businesses, developing partnerships, and raising capital. Praveen has also streamlined processes and systems, and developed go-to-market strategies. In their previous role at Union National Bank, Praveen led the merger discussions and due diligence for Retail Banking and SME. Praveen was also part of the 4 member core Integration Management Office (IMO) to ensure smooth integration post merger. Praveen directed teams from both banks for better customer experience and planned a smooth operational transition.

Praveen Bandekar has a wide range of educational experience, having studied at Humber College, the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, and the University of Mumbai. Praveen also has high school experience from Sacred Heart Boys High School. In addition to their educational background, Praveen Bandekar has also completed certification courses from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Franklin Covey Co., The Partnership, Ken Blanchard Companies, Experior Management, and Canadian Securities Institute. These courses cover topics such as organizational leadership, marketing, commerce, accounting, tax, radical innovation, strategy implementation, and Canadian securities.
