Shilpa Mitra

Shilpa Mitra is the CEO and co-founder of ShufflUp. Shilpa has a background in teaching and research, having worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and as a Research Associate at IISER Kolkata. Shilpa is also experienced in event organising and marketing, having served as Assistant General Secretary at College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat 107.

Shilpa Mitra's educational career began with their completing their 12th standard in the field of physical sciences from Shibpur Hindu Girls' High School. Shilpa then completed their 10th standard in the field of general studies from the same school. Shilpa went on to earn their Bachelor of Technology degree in electrical, electronics and communications engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. After working as a research fellow in the field of statistical analysis of non-stationary time series at Indian Institute of Science Education & Research (IISER), Kolkata, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy in electrical and electronics engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
