Lana Covas

Lana Covas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lana started their career as a Freelance Marketing Designer and Content Creator, where they worked on designing marketing materials and managing marketing campaigns for various clients. Lana then transitioned to a role as a Logistics Manager at Sitra NV, where they were responsible for planning cargo deliveries and managing the supply chain.

Lana also gained experience in the public sector through their internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova. In this role, they conducted policy analysis, provided support in drafting speeches, and assisted in organizing events and meetings.

Lana later joined ZARA SA as a Sales Assistant before moving into the field of business development. Lana worked as a Co-Founder and Product Manager at Keyconnect, overseeing the product development process and ensuring its successful launch.

Lana then joined Plusius as a Business Development Associate, where they focused on global payments solutions. Lana continued this role at Wiccon, an investment company and consulting firm, where they also helped build software solutions for businesses.

Most recently, Lana worked as a Business Development Associate at Tango AML, a company specializing in fraud prevention solutions. Here, they gained extensive knowledge in KYC verification, AML screening, and other financial crime prevention measures.

Throughout their career, Lana has consistently demonstrated strong skills in business development, project management, and marketing. Their experience in various industries and roles has equipped their with a well-rounded skill set.

Lana Covas pursued their education with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, starting in 2014 and completing it in 2017. Then, in 2019, Lana enrolled at Stockholm University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Global Political Economy in 2021. In addition, Lana obtained certification as a World Class Employer Branding Professional from the Employer Branding Academy in September 2019.
