Ambar Nayate

Ambar Nayate is a registered patent attorney with extensive experience in national and international patent prosecution, particularly in fields such as analog and digital circuits, software, computer architecture, telecommunications, and medical devices. Currently serving as a Principal at Shumaker & Sieffert since August 2007, Ambar Nayate also engages in infringement counseling, opinion work, and portfolio management. Prior experience includes a role as an Associate Attorney specializing in patent drafting and procurement, and earlier, as a Customer Application Engineer at Maxim Integrated Products from July 2001 to June 2004. Ambar Nayate holds a JD from the University of Minnesota Law School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah.
