Margaret Richardson

Margaret L. Richardson serves as the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at GoFundMe since May 2022, focusing on enhancing community support globally. In addition, Margaret has been a member of Pipeline Angels since March 2019 and previously held positions at Apple in Trust & Safety, and at Airbnb as Vice President of Trust and Director of Global Policy. Prior experience includes serving as Of Counsel at Covington & Burling LLP, multiple roles at the U.S. Department of Justice including Chief of Staff and Counselor to the Attorney General, and work with Obama for America. Margaret's early career included directing the Clean Slate Practice at the East Bay Community Law Center. Educational qualifications comprise a JD from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA in History from the University of Virginia.
