Bill Oakley

Bill Oakley has a diverse work experience in various industries. Bill worked at Shure Incorporated as an Associate Director, Global Product Management & Innovation, and as a Senior Global Product Manager and Global Product Manager. During their time at Shure, they were involved in market research, product development, and product launch for multiple products in the wireless and networking systems categories. Bill also played a role in Shure's entrance into Dante digital audio networking.

Bill also worked at Seperate Touring Corporation as a Production Manager, FOH Engineer, and Tour Manager. Additionally, they had a role as a Professional Master Dive Instructor and Emergency First Response Trainer in their own self-employment.

Before that, Bill worked at Shure Incorporated as an Artist Relations Manager, Sales & Marketing Manager, and Marketing Specialist. In these positions, they played a key role in establishing and building relationships with top-tier customers, managing global product portfolios, and executing successful marketing campaigns.

Prior to their work at Shure, Bill had a role in Artist Management and Event Promotions at SPARK Management, and as a Sales Associate at Audio Depot. Bill also served as the Assistant Station Manager, Office Manager, and Director of the Electronica Department at 91.7 FM WSUM - University of Wisconsin Student Radio. During their time at the radio station, they successfully led a campaign for FM licensing.

Bill Oakley attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations, with a focus on Global Security. Bill'sfield of study included International Relations and National Security Studies. In addition to their formal education, they also hold certifications as a NAUI Instructor from NAUI Worldwide and as a PADI Instructor and PADI Divemaster from PADI.
