Chad Westbrook

Chad Westbrook is a seasoned professional in the coatings industry with a diverse background in technical management and commodity oversight. Currently serving as a Senior Commodity Manager for Finishing at Shure Incorporated since November 2016, Chad transitioned from 16 years of research and development expertise. Prior experience includes a Technical Manager role at Sherwin Williams, where leadership of a team of chemists and technicians was combined with overseeing projects and providing technical guidance. Chad also held positions as a Scientist and Senior Scientist at Sherwin Williams, as well as Development and Technical Service Chemist at Daubert Chemical Company, highlighting a strong foundation in technical advancement and cross-functional collaboration. Chad began the career as a Chemist focused on military coatings, developing innovative solutions in partnership with military research organizations. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Polymers and Coatings from North Dakota State University.
