James Tomochek

James Tomochek is a seasoned professional in embedded software development with extensive experience in digital wireless communications and system architecture. Since May 2011, James has served as Senior Manager of DSP Software at Shure Incorporated, overseeing a team focused on innovative wired and wireless audio solutions. Prior roles at Shure include Senior Staff Engineer and Staff Engineer in Embedded Software, where responsibilities included implementing digital RF communications protocols for professional audio equipment. Before joining Shure, James worked at Motorola as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff, developing embedded software for cellular infrastructure products, and began their career as a Software Engineer at General Motors. Education includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
