John Woodruff

John Woodruff is a seasoned quality engineering professional with extensive experience. Currently serving as Managing Engineer in Corporate Quality at Shure Incorporated since August 2016, John has developed quality incident management and investigative processes, trained incoming engineers, and improved service data quality. Previously, John held various roles at Shure, including Associate Staff Engineer and Senior Corporate Quality Engineer, instrumental in enhancing product quality and implementing successful launches. Before joining Shure, John worked at Aerotek - Ford Motor Company as a Plant Vehicle Team Engineer, achieving significant cost reductions and quality improvements. Earlier experience includes positions at Gentex Corporation as a Supplier Quality Engineer and Production Support Engineer, as well as serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Michigan State University. John holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
