Luis Rodriguez Jr. has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Luis started their career as a Guest Services representative at At Your Service Staffing in 1999. Luis then gained experience as a Customer Service Representative at Comcast, troubleshooting cable problems and assisting with billing inquiries. Luis later worked as a Helpdesk Technician Analyst and Claim Clerical at CELTIC Insurance Comp, where they were responsible for entering claims information and maintaining files.

In 2002, Luis took on the role of Teacher Assistant/Technician at Robert Morris College, where they assisted in teaching and provided technical support. Luis then joined T-systems NA as a Support Analyst, handling technical calls and troubleshooting software, hardware, networking, and VPN issues. Luis also worked as a Data Center Operator, performing tasks such as training and submitting jobs.

Luis joined Baxter Credit Union in 2012 as a BCU Technical Analyst, where they resolved support requests and managed projects related to network administration. Luis then moved on to PSAV as a Client Network Engineer, responsible for designing, installing, and supporting WAN/LAN, wireless, voice, and video network solutions for clients in the hospitality industry.

In 2019, Luis joined Optimas Solutions as a Sr. Network Engineer, where they supported and maintained Cisco Nexus core switches, Cisco ASA, LAN, WAN, and WLAN. Luis ensured optimal response time and quality of service for voice, data, and critical systems.

Currently, Luis is employed at Shure Incorporated as a Network Engineer Lead, where they continue to utilize their expertise in network engineering and leading a team in managing network infrastructure.

Luis Rodriguez Jr., MIS has a Master of Network & Communications Management (MNCM) degree in IT security from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University (2014-2015). Luis also has a graduate degree in Information Systems from Morris Graduate School / RMU (2009-2010) and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Network Specialist from Robert Morris University - Illinois (2000-2003). Additionally, they hold certifications in SAFe 5 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. (2022) and Six Sigma Green Belt (2010). Luis also has a certification as a Sound Engineer.
