Ammar Kharouf has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Ammar started their career in 1996 as a Law Clerk at the Hawaii Supreme Court. Ammar then joined Bingham McCutchen in 1997 as an Attorney, where they gained extensive experience in various areas of business litigation. After eight years, they moved to Public Storage in 2005, assuming the role of VP - Chief Litigation and Operations Counsel. Here, they were responsible for developing litigation strategies, advising on labor and employment issues, and providing counsel on intellectual property matters. In 2014, Ammar joined Shurgard Self-Storage as General Counsel and VP HR and Legal, where they played a crucial role in strategic business planning, particularly in the Legal and Human Resources functions. Ammar'sexpertise extends to the United States, and their experience includes general commercial, intellectual property, labor and employment, real estate, antitrust, and securities litigation.

Ammar Kharouf pursued their education at American University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations and History. Subsequently, they attended the University of California - Hastings College of the Law from 1993 to 1996, earning a JD degree with a focus on Law.
