Jorge De Cordova

Jorge De Cordova has worked in the travel industry for the past 8 years. In 2012, they began their career as an Inside Sales Executive at Amstar DMC. Two years later, they moved on to become a Travel Planner at Journey Mexico. In 2015, they were appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Smart Tourism Mexico, where they were responsible for creating and following the company's strategy, finding areas of opportunity, and networking and negotiating with travel agents and tour operators. In 2018, they joined Expedia Group as a Global Associate Ground Transportation Manager. In 2021, they were accepted into 500 LatAm's Batch 13 (Somos Lucha). In 2022, they joined Emprelatam as a Startup Mentor and became an alumnus of Y Combinator's W22. Jorge currently holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Shuttle Central.

Jorge De Cordova is currently an alumni of Y Combinator's W22 program. Previously, they obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA from IMF Smart Education in 2016-2018 and a Master's degree in Tourism management from Universidad Camilo Jos\u00e9 Cela in the same time period.
