Javier Frías

Javier Frías has a long and varied work experience. Javier began their career in 1995 as an IT Consultant working as a Freelance. In 2009, they were hired as an IT Manager for Hill International Spain, where they developed the company's IT operations in Spain and Latam. Javier then moved on to Lionbridge Global Sourcing Solutions Inc in 2010 as an International Search Editor Consultant, helping to improve the quality of one of the largest search engines in the world. In 2013, they were hired as an IT Manager for King's Group, where they were tasked with defining and executing the company's IT operations in Spain, United Kingdom and Panama. From 2015 to 2018, they worked for ShuttleCloud.com as an IT Manager and Product Manager, managing IT infrastructure and conducting market research. Javier also worked as a Sales & Support Engineer for getcarbo.com and as a Growth Hacker for portalmenu.com. In 2017, they began working as an MBA Professor at ESERP Business School, specializing in Big Data. Most recently, they were hired as the CTO of Cloudasta in 2020.

Javier Frías began their educational journey in 1990, studying Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid until 1992. Javier then attended the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca and obtained their Ingeniero Informático degree in 1997. In 2001, they returned to the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca and obtained their Doctorado en Ingeniería de Software in 2003. Javier also holds several certifications from Google Cloud, including Associate Cloud Engineer (2022), Cloud Digital Leader (2022), Professional Cloud Architect (2022), Professional Data Engineer (2022), and Professional Google Workspace Administrator (2019 and 2023).
