Connie Alt's work experience includes serving as an Attorney & Senior Vice President at Shuttleworth & Ingersoll, P.L.C. since August 1986. Prior to that, they worked as a Law Clerk for Justice Harvey Uhlenhopp at The Iowa Supreme Court from 1985 to 1986.

Connie Alt obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business/Commerce, General from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. Connie completed their undergraduate studies from 1979 to 1982. Following this, Connie pursued their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Iowa College of Law. Their legal education took place between 1982 and 1985.
