Sander Reurings-Tsiganko

Sander Reurings-Tsiganko has a diverse work experience in the field of internal audit and control. Sander started their career as a trainee at 3M in 2005, followed by a trainee position at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2007. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, they later became a Senior Associate in the Systems and Process Assurance practice, focusing on controls related to financial reporting and IT management.

In 2010, Sander worked as an IT-auditor at AkzoNobel for a brief period before returning to PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate in 2009.

In 2011, Sander joined AkzoNobel again, this time as a Senior IT Auditor. Sander was responsible for planning and performing audits, reviewing audit reports, and communicating audit results to senior management.

Sander then moved on to become an Associate Audit Manager at AkzoNobel in 2013, and later became an Audit Manager in 2015. As an Audit Manager, they were also assigned as the Account Manager for several business units, where they developed risk-based audit approaches and provided periodic reporting on audit findings.

In 2017, Sander joined Avery Dennison as a Senior Internal Audit Manager for the EMEA region. Sander played a fundamental role in leading and transforming the audit function, managing a team, and developing strategic approaches to risk assessment and reporting.

In 2019, Sander joined Nutreco as the Manager Group Internal Audit and later became the Global Process Lead O2C. In these roles, they were responsible for managing internal audits and leading process improvement initiatives.

In 2021, Sander joined Mammoet as the Head of Internal Audit & Internal Control, where they oversaw internal audit activities and implemented internal control measures.

Currently, Sander is the Head of Internal Audit at both Kiwa and SHV, leading audit services for multiple companies under the SHV umbrella. Sander reports directly to the Corporate Director Internal Audit at SHV Holdings.

Sander Reurings-Tsiganko obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commercial Economics from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 2005. Sander then pursued a Master's degree in Business Studies at the University of Amsterdam from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, Sander completed a Register EDP-Auditor program at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in IT-Auditing. Sander also obtained the certification of Register EDP-Auditor (RE) from the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School.
