Jean Bess

Jean Bess has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. From 2020 to the present, Bess worked as the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis at The Shyft Group, where they focused on growth and financial performance. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2020, Bess served as the Senior Director of Corporate Finance at Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc., managing financial planning and analysis for a global manufacturer. Before that, Bess worked at Tenneco from 1998 to 2018 in various finance leadership positions, including Finance Director and Global Business Process Owner/IT Director. They have a proven track record of driving operational performance and financial improvement across different organizations.

Jean Bess earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Hanover College, completing this education from 1988 to 1992.
