Robert McCallum

Robert McCallum, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS). Their most recent role is as the Corporate Director of EHS&S at The Shyft Group since October 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Environmental, Health and Safety at Mobex Global from April 2021 to September 2023. Robert also held the position of Director, Environmental, Health and Safety at The Shyft Group from January 2017 to April 2021.

Before joining The Shyft Group, Robert worked as an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager at Toyoda Gosei from July 2014 to January 2017. Robert also served as the Regulatory Affairs/Compliance- Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager at CARACO (Sun Pharma) Pharmaceutical Laboratories from November 2007 to February 2014, where they maintained compliance with government and corporate policies, developed programs and training, and acted as a subject matter expert in various safety areas.

Robert gained valuable experience as a Human Resource-Health, Safety and Training Coordinator at Metaldyne from September 2002 to October 2007. In that role, they were responsible for hiring, orientation, and improving safety compliance.

Prior to their roles in EHS, Robert worked as an Account Manager, Recruiting & Staffing at The Staffing Connection from September 2001 to September 2002, and as a Corporate Training Coordinator at Uni Boring Co., Inc from October 1997 to September 2001. Robert managed training programs, job training grants, and implemented ISO 14000 processes in the latter role.

Robert's early career includes a position as a Large Account Manager at Manpower from April 1995 to September 1997, and as an Enlisted Education and Training Manager in the United States Air Force from December 1990 to April 1995.

Robert McCallum, MBA completed their education with a Masters of Business Administration in Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University in 2016. Robert also holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business from Spring Arbor University, which they obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Human Resource Management from Lansing Community College in 2012. In the earlier years of their education, between 1986 and 1995, Robert pursued studies in Business, Training, and Development at the Community College of the Air Force.
