Matthew Basnight

Matthew Basnight has a diverse work experience. Matthew is currently working as the VP of Software Engineering at ShyftOff, where they are responsible for building platforms to support customer service solutions for businesses. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Software Engineer II at Uber, where they designed and built backend services for global transit, vouchers, and gift card products. Matthew also has experience as a Senior SQL Server Developer at Routematch, where they focused on SQL database architecture and performance optimization. Before that, Matthew worked as a Senior Database Developer at ICF International, where they developed applications and data systems for public health programs. Matthew started their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Plenums Inc, where they were involved in the design and sales of HVAC accessories.

Matthew Basnight obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida from 2006 to 2011. Matthew also obtained a Bachelor's Science degree in Materials Engineering from UCF during the same time period. In addition, they obtained certifications such as MCPS - Microsoft Certified Professional and MCSA - SQL Server 2012/2014 from Microsoft, and they also obtained the Engineer In Training certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers in 2010.
