Paolo Di Marzo has a diverse work experience, with roles spanning across various industries. In 2017, they started working as a System Engineer & IT Consultant at Virtual Srl, where they provided technical expertise and consulting services. During the same year, they also worked as a Community Moderator at The Sia Foundation. In 2018, Paolo co-founded Cryptoticino.ch, a company focused on cryptocurrency. In 2019, they joined PQE Group as a Consulente IT & Technical Qualification, working on IT projects. In 2020, Paolo founded Home Security CH, a company specializing in home security, and worked as its Founder for a brief period. Paolo also joined Duferco as a System Engineer & Security Analyst in the same year, contributing to the security and technical aspects of the company. Finally, in 2020, they became a TryHackMe CTF Player, ranking in the top 0.03% and showcasing their skills in cybersecurity challenges.

Paolo Di Marzo began their education in 2023 at the IU International University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity. Paolo completed this program in 2027. Before that, from 2014 to 2016, they attended the University of Lausanne, where they did not specify a degree program but studied in the Faculty of Geoscience and Environment. Prior to that, in 2016 to 2017, Paolo attended Università degli Studi dell'Insubria for Physics, although they did not obtain a degree in this field.

In addition to their formal education, Paolo has obtained several certifications in cybersecurity. In May 2023, they became certified in cybersecurity by (ISC)² and also completed the Foundation of Cybersecurity program provided by Google. Paolo has also earned various certifications from (ISC)², including Access Control Concepts, Incident Response, BC and Dr, Network Security, Security Operations, and Security Principles, all obtained in April 2023. Paolo has also pursued online certification courses and learning paths in cyber security, including Introduction to Cyber Security, Web Fundamentals Learning Path, Advent of Cyber 2021, Pre Security, CompTIA Pentests+ Learning Path, Complete Beginner, and Advent of Cyber 2020, all obtained in 2021 and 2022. Additionally, in 2020, they completed the Foundation of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK program by AttackIQ and earned certifications from IBM in Cybersecurity Analyst, Cybersecurity Analyst Assessment, Penetration Testing, Incident Response and Forensics, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Cybersecurity Capstone: Breach Response Case Studies.
