Hon Wai WAN is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system administration and web development. Currently serving as a Senior System Administrator at the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics since June 2011, Hon Wai WAN has previously held roles such as Web Specialist at Haute Ecole de la Santé La Source, where responsibilities included web portal development and project management, as well as providing user support. Hon Wai WAN has a background in network management from voluntary work with Festival Caribana and has contributed to system administration in IT and R&D departments at ANDRITZ - VATECH HYDRO VEVEY SA. The SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics is an internationally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to biological and biomedical data science.
