Corne Strydom

Corne Strydom is a seasoned professional in the mining industry with extensive experience in senior leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Vice President - Head of Technical and Innovation at Sibanye-Stillwater since January 2017, Corne has occupied multiple senior vice president positions within the company, overseeing operations and technical services. Prior experience includes leadership as Vice President at Driefontein Gold Mine and General Manager at Village Main Reef Gold Mining Company. Corne's background also encompasses key positions at Anglo American and Anglo Platinum-Union, where responsibilities ranged from Mineral Resources Manager to Chief Mine Planner. Corne holds an MBA from Henley Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
