Greg Krumel

Greg Krumel, P.E., is an experienced Underground Geotechnical Engineer at Sibanye-Stillwater since April 2020, responsible for conducting ground support checks, developing support plans for poor ground conditions, and training new engineers. Previously, Greg held roles as an Underground Ventilation Engineer and Junior Mine Engineer, successfully coordinating projects and audits to improve operational efficiency. Prior experiences include a ski mountaineering sabbatical, a miner at Cementation Americas, an intern at Tronox, and roles in operations and packaging at Uinta Brewing Company and Martin Engineering. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Utah and has international educational experience from institutions in Peru and Germany.
