Gretchen Moore

Gretchen Moore is a seasoned geologist and engineer with extensive experience in geotechnical modeling and geological support within the mining sector. Currently serving as a Senior Rock Mechanics Engineer at Sibanye-Stillwater since January 2020, Gretchen provides critical predictive ground type recommendations and modeling for mine operations. Prior to this role, Gretchen operated G Moore Geoscience Services, LLC, offering consulting services in geological data systems, resource estimation, and underground mine design from October 2017 to January 2020. Gretchen also contributed as a Contract Geologic Modeler at Kinross Gold Corporation, where responsibilities included updating a 3D resource block model, and held various roles at Stillwater Mining Corporation, including Senior Cost Engineer, focusing on budget and cost analysis. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Washington and a Certificate in Applied Geostatistics from The University of British Columbia.
