Lorenzo Bell is an experienced Chief Engineer at Sibley Memorial Hospital, serving since January 1997. In this role, Lorenzo develops and manages energy efficiency projects, provides technical leadership, and oversees the maintenance of hospital emergency generators and building mechanical systems, including HVAC and hot water systems. Lorenzo has also been responsible for reviewing and maintaining Title V air quality permits. Prior to this position, Lorenzo worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Woodies from November 1981 to November 1990, specializing as a lead mechanic for elevators, escalators, and HVAC systems. Educational credentials include studies at RSES, Strayer University, and the University of the District of Columbia.
