Virtual Coach at Sibme

Kathy Perret has been working in the education field since 1982. Kathy began their career as a Grade Teacher at St. Rose of Lima Elementary School, then moved on to Woodbury Central Community School District in 1989, and Sioux City Community School District in 1997. In 2008, they gained Principal Internship and Interim Experiences at Irving Elementary School, where they balanced instructional leadership with managerial duties. In 2010, they became an Adjunct Professor at Morningside College. In 2014, Kathy founded Kathy Perret Consulting, where they worked as an Educational Consultant and Virtual Coach for Instructional Coaches & School Leaders. In 2016, they became a Virtual Coach at Sibme, and in 2017, they became an Author and Professional Learning Facilitator at ASCD.

Kathy Perret completed their Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Iowa State University between 1977 and 1981. Kathy then went on to obtain their Masters of Teaching from Morningside University between 2002 and 2006. Lastly, they obtained their PK-12 Administrative Endorsement from the Iowa Principal Leadership Academy between 2005 and 2007.
