Peter Savagian

Peter Savagian is SVP of Engineering at Ampaire, a company leading the charge for electrified aviation. Prior to Ampaire, Peter was SVP of engineering at Faraday Future, a large scale automotive EV start-up where he oversaw technical development of the FF91 Beta and Gamma-level (pre-production) vehicles. Before Faraday, Peter was Chief Engineer at GM responsible for Electrification Systems and Electric Drives product development. His work at GM brought electrification to GM automobiles and involved several innovations in architecture, hardware, software systems, new development systems and new integration methods. Notably, Peter's work resulted in the first modern Electric Vehicle - the GM EV1, the first Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle - the Chevrolet Volt, and several other pioneering HEVs, PHEVs, and EVs.
