Daniel Brandão

Daniel Brandão has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Daniel started their career at Fullscreen, where they worked as a Developer, responsible for planning, designing, and developing games for mobile platforms. Daniel then joined Accenture, working as a Software Developer for a large energy group, where they were involved in Oracle Customer Care & Billing implementation and later took on responsibilities for accounting area improvement and automation. After that, they joined Deloitte Portugal as a Software Engineer, focusing on the design and implementation of Microservices-based solutions for various clients using Java, Spring Cloud, and other technologies. Most recently, Daniel worked at SIBS as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Digital Core Engineering Manager, with a focus on digital transformation and core engineering. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in technologies such as Java, Docker, Maven, and SonarQube.

Daniel Brandão completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Informatics Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto from 2007 to 2011. Daniel then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Daniel obtained several certifications including UX PM Level 1 from UXalliance in January 2019, SAF - Scrum Agile Foundations from Project Management Institute in November 2018, and Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle in June 2017.
