Francisco Simões has a diverse work experience with various companies. Francisco started their career at NOS SGPS in 2013, where they worked as a Campaign and Product Manager. In this role, they were responsible for implementing campaigns and managing products, achieving a high conversion rate. Francisco also led CRM projects related to product, segmentation, loyalty, churn, and customer lifetime value.

In 2016, Simões joined Sacoor Brothers as a Marketing Manager. Here, they had ownership of the marketing plan and budget and managed a team of four people. Francisco also handled eCommerce and web app in-store product management, as well as media, PR, and events.

Simões then moved on to Philip Morris International in 2019, where they worked as a Retail Brand Manager. In this role, they focused on web app in-store product management and developed and implemented business plans to increase POS performance. Francisco also created a sales matrix to evaluate and optimize each POS.

Currently, Simões is working at SIBS, starting in 2020 as a Senior Product Manager and later transitioning to the role of Head of Product in 2022. In these roles, they are responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market of various products. Francisco also builds relationships and negotiates with banks and large merchants in Portugal.

Francisco Simões has a comprehensive education history. In 2008, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Instituto Superior Técnico. Following this, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same institution. During this time, in 2012, they also attended an Athens Course on Metaheuristics for Global Optimization at Warsaw University of Technology. Furthermore, in 2012, Francisco studied Engineering/Industrial Management at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.

In 2017, Francisco furthered their education by enrolling in two courses. First, they took a Digital Marketing Course at The Wharton School, focusing on the fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Social Media, and E-Commerce. Second, they completed a MOOC Tecnico Course at Instituto Superior Técnico, concentrating on Digital Transformation.

Additionally, Francisco has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2015, they completed the Microsoft Excel Macros and VBA course offered by Instituto Superior Técnico. In 2017, they participated in a Training and Coaching Course provided by MIND4TIME. Later in 2018, they obtained certifications in Google Analytics for Beginners and Ecommerce Analytics: From Data to Decisions through Google. Finally, in 2019, they completed the Accelerating Customer Business Development Program at the Nova School of Business and Economics.
