Luís Cordeiro

Luís Cordeiro started their career in 2020 as a Summer Intern at CFTC, where they worked on a project studying dynamic liquid bridges using a Lattice-Boltzmann model. In this role, they validated the model and researched the stability of liquid bridges under extreme conditions.

In 2021, Cordeiro joined Closer Consulting as a Data Science & BI Trainee. Luís worked on developing and maintaining a model to assess the financial vulnerability of Business Banking customers for a major UK bank. Additionally, they extracted, transformed, and analyzed data to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

In 2023, Cordeiro joined SIBS as a Fraud Data Analyst, where they currently work. No end date is provided for this role.

Luís Cordeiro completed their education at the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa from 2016 to 2021, where they obtained an Integrated Master Degree in Engineering Physics.
