Pedro Barbosa began their work experience in 2008 as a CRM Consultant at Novabase, where they were responsible for sizing, deploying, supporting, and managing the Siebel CRM system. In 2010, they joined Portugal Telecom as an IT Consultant, leading technical support teams for international clients and overseeing the deployment of Oracle solutions. Pedro later became a Service Delivery Manager, responsible for incidents and problems KPIs, as well as serving as the SPOC for client escalations. In 2015, Pedro transitioned to the role of Delivery Manager at Portugal Telecom. In 2017, they joined KPMG Portugal as a Manager in Information Risk Management, focusing on IT process design, risk evaluation, and audit of automatic controls in financial services and corporate sectors. Pedro's most recent position, starting from August 2021, is as a Service and Transition Manager at SIBS.

Pedro Barbosa obtained their Executive Master degree in Corporate Management from ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa in 2010-2011. Prior to that, they graduated from ISEL - Instituto Superior De Engenharia De Lisboa in 2003-2008, with a degree in Telecommunications, Electronics and Computers Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Pedro has obtained several certifications. In 2014, they achieved the ISO/IEC 20000 Foundations certification from APMG International. In 2012, they obtained the ITIL v3 2011 Foundations certification, also from APMG International. In the same year, they completed a Leadership and Coaching program offered by Teamwork, Consultores. Most recently, in 2020, Pedro acquired the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft and the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2019 Certified Architect Associate certification from Oracle.
