Pedro Jalles

Pedro Jalles worked as a Software Engineer at SIBS starting in November 2021. Pedro was responsible for developing SIBS' Core Payment Processing backend, which handles billions of transactions annually. Prior to that, they worked at Mitiga Solutions from January 2020 to December 2020, where they played a role in migrating the company's monolithic code structure to a Python based microservice architecture. Pedro also developed web services for Mitiga's Natural Hazards Monitoring System. Mitiga Solutions is a spin-off of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.

Pedro Jalles completed their education in a chronological manner. Pedro started their education at Lycée Français Charles Lepierre, where they earned their Baccalauréat degree. Pedro attended this school from 1999 to 2014. Then, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Université libre de Bruxelles, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. Finally, they attended the NOVA School of Science and Technology and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Engineering from 2017 to 2022.
